For a moment in time, nothing seemed to move. All was quiet and for once, peaceful. Not even the wind seemed to make a sound as it blew across the open field, brushing up against her feathers and sending a cool sensation down her spine.
It wasn't very often they got to spend time away from the front lines, none the less together. It's all worth it in the end, she thought. She nuzzled his chest and felt him shift slightly. She opened her eyes. "What's the matter?" "Look up." he said as he raised his head up off the ground and craned his neck around. As she focused in on the sky she sighed "Its about to rain, we should head back" "Hold on, lets stay a little longer." he said grinning. She grinned back at him "And why is that?" "Because...." he looked back up towards the darkening scene, "The most beautiful skies always appear right before the storm." ----------------------- HOLYCRAPITS4:07AM!!!! I had so much fun doing this guys you wouldn't believe!  Vreyin's flashy colors along with Pango's duller colors really were so much fun to put together!This is for =kilara's Avian contest. Can't you guys tell I just found out yesterday that the deadline had been extended? XDDDD I was in a panic trying to get this done for the last month! and then I finally checked DA X3 Download if you want to see the details (thats why they're there people).
